CLEAN, SAFE WATER
IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
HERE'S HOW WE'D SUMMARIZE THAT:
IT'S WHAT YOU CAN DO
Step 1:
Partner
There are many people without access to clean, safe water across the poorest parts of the Dominican Republic, so we make sure to assess the needs and develop a solid partnership with a community before we ask for your support.
Step 2:
You
You and compassionate, generous people like you respond to the calls for help and give a donation time and time again. Often times those donations are even doubled by a matching donor!
Step 3:
Construction
Once all the funds for a project are raised, it is time to build a water plant! This means clearing land, building the physical structure and adding the reverse osmosis purifying system - all to the Health Department's standards.
Step 4:
Teamwork
We take pride in creating jobs in each community where we provide water. Our local leadership team finds
hardworking, local people to employ. They are trained to maintain and manage the water plant business efficiently.
Step 5:
Business
Did someone say business? Yes! Once the water plant and team are ready to go, the water plant opens for business, selling and delivering the water to people in need at a rate they can afford!
